Neptune Cash mining FAQ
What is Neptune Cash (NPT)?
Neptune Cash (NPT) is a Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency secured by the Tip5 hash. It provides private, scalable payments using zk-STARK proofs and a mutator set, and it is mined with GPUs.
How do I mine Neptune Cash?
Download suprminer 1.9.32, then run ./suprminer-neptune -a npt -o stratum+tcp://npt.suprnova.cc:6453 -u YOUR_ACCOUNT.worker -p x. Use your pool account or your Neptune nolgam address as the username. The step-by-step guide covers Linux, Windows, HiveOS, mmPOS, SMOS and Docker.
Which GPU do I need to mine Neptune Cash?
NPT mining with suprminer needs an NVIDIA RTX 30-series or newer GPU (CMP 170HX, A100 and H100 work too). Measured on our pool, an RTX 5090 reaches about 450 MH/s at 600 W.
What is the pool fee and payout scheme?
The pool fee is 1% and rewards are shared with PPLNS, so every miner is paid for their share of the work in the last rounds.
When are payouts sent?
Payouts are sent automatically every hour, on the hour, once your confirmed balance reaches 1 NPT (or your own higher payout limit). The network fee of each payout is split between the miners paid in that transaction.
What makes Neptune Cash unique?
Neptune Cash combines Tip5 Proof-of-Work with zk-STARK privacy and a mutator set for trustless, scalable and private transactions. Half of the block reward is liquid and half is time-locked.
